Maped Helix’s mission: To empower every child to change the world with their own hands.

Since 1887, Maped has designed and manufactured school and writing supplies and rolls out its creativity to serve children all over the world.
To give them the tools they need, Maped innovates every day – providing intelligent, sustainable, and fun products that put stars in children’s eyes.
This results in nearly 200 million children all over the world having already used a Maped Helix product.
Maped is a patented brand in 130 countries, and 100% of product design is carried out in-house. Rigorous testing takes place to test for safety and compliance with European regulations. Products are also tested in classrooms, working with school teachers to develop writing products that are as close as possible to their expectations.

KIDYlearn is a transversal learning range, dedicated to writing and school products, and recommended by teachers. The pencil grip is for daily use and was developed using biomechanical studies to support the acquisition of the tripod grip.
The Visio Pen is the first ergonomic pen which gives back visibility to left-handers to allow them to see what they are writing without hooking their wrist around – and featuring non-smudge blue ink.
1% of sales from the core products is used to finance educational initiatives in countries where Maped operates, including Morocco, Argentina and Mexico. In the UK Maped has worked with 176 charitable organisations to reach community groups/projects and schools.
