Let edding help you find your way with words …
Handwriting is a complex human communication skill that we learn from an early age, developing our own unique style. A considerable percentage of children acquire inadequate handwriting skills and find they are unable to cope with demands faced in school. Bad handwriting isn’t just hard to read, it can also limit exam success by as much as 40%.
With this in mind, edding has a corporate sponsorship of the National Handwriting Association and supports them by promoting the awareness and importance of good handwriting and providing a wide range of pens, markers and other creative products to assist all ages.
The edding handwriter is an excellent option for children’s handwriting because it writes at any angle, has excellent ink flow and a very resilient nib. It’s also ideal for left-handed users due to its quick-drying, non-smudging ink. In fact, 96% of teachers surveyed would recommend the edding handwriter.*
However, if it’s a finer stroke width you require, there’s the edding fineliner. Again this is ideal for both left and right handed users (due to its quick-drying, non-smudging ink). The edding fineliner has a soft plastic nib that produces precise, smooth writing or sketching capabilities in four colours.
Alternatively, for a more creative style of writing, the edding 2185 gel roller is available in 16 attractive colours (including metallic and pastel shades – ideal for use on dark paper surfaces). This special gel ink pen boasts a durable metal framed roller tip for strength and a rubber grip for a precise, comfortable and smooth writing style.
However, in the classroom paper isn’t the only surface that is used. Whiteboards are often utilised as they don’t add to paper waste, and edding have a range of whiteboard markers that are trusted by teachers and pupils. The edding 360 (bullet nib), edding 363 (chisel nib), edding 361 (fine nib) and edding 366 (pocket sized) whiteboard markers are available in up to eight colours, and all contain lightfast, quick-drying, low-odour ink. The edding 360 and 363 can be refilled using BTK 25 refill inks and feature a three day ‘cap-off’ time, meaning these markers can be left uncapped without the risk of drying out – ideal for forgetful children … and teachers.
